Registered Library members can access thousands of materials across the HeLM Network. This includes academic books, fiction and well-being titles, CDs, and DVDs. We also have Educational Board Games that support formal and informal teaching and learning available for loan such as The Drug Round Game, The Sepsis Game, and The Stroke Game.
Explore our specialist collections, including the Reminiscence Collection with memory-stimulating resources, the Brain Injury Collection for brain injury survivors, the Child Health Collection featuring books that help children explore foods, and a selection of books for international recruits to support integration and cultural connection.
You don’t have to visit the library in person to loan an item. We can post them directly to you at any BCHC site. You can also return them to us via the internal post. Visit the Library Catalogue to reserve items and email the library if there is a title you would like to recommend for inclusion in our collection.
A fee may apply for requested items obtained from the British Library. We will seek your agreement before any charges are incurred.
