Article Requests
We offer an article request service where UHB staff can request articles not available from the library’s subscriptions.
To make a request, go to the UHB article request form.
Articles obtained from NHS Libraries are free but there is a charge of £8 for British Library articles.
Literature Searching
Our free Literature Searching service is here to assist all UHB staff with sourcing information for patient care, research and service delivery questions.
Simply submit your question to the form on our website and our team will use healthcare databases such as MEDLINE, CINAHL and Cochrane Library to find high-quality, evidence-based information.
A report of results will be sent to your email within five working days (please speak to us if you require an earlier deadline).
