The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Foundation Trust

    The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital Library is situated in the Knowledge Hub and is part of a consortium of Midlands NHS libraries. We welcome anyone who is engaged with the Trust, whether you are a student, member of staff, a volunteer, patient or family member.

  • A library card to borrow books from the ROH and across the HeLM network.
  • OpenAthens to access a huge range of online journal articles and resources.
  • If you are intersted in signing up for KnowledgeShare, please email the library.

  • A literature search to support your studies, research or day-to-day work.
  • Journal articles that you are having difficulty locating.
  • Training on information skills, including conducting literature searches and using our resources.

  • Our wellbeing area, with a range of books and other resources for supporting your physical and mental health.
  • Our study space: a quiet spot where you are welcome to eat, drink, study, work and use our computers.
  • Our food pantry, with a range of food, drink and toiletries arranged on the shelves for any staff member who needs them.

    The library is open from 8am to 9:30pm and is staffed from 8am to 4pm. If you are using the library outside of staffed hours please be mindful of the Trust’s policy on lone working.

    • The library is staffed 8am to 4pm Monday to Friday.
